dePie Clínicas Podológicas is a Spanish clinical network with more than 30 years of experience in podiatry and lower-limb healthcare, operating through clinics located in different regions of Spain. Throughout its history, dePie has built its activity on a strong foundation of professional excellence, clinical competence, and continuous training, ensuring high standards of care across its clinical network.

dePie combines extensive experience in outpatient and surgical management of foot and lower-limb conditions with a well-established tradition in biomechanical assessment and treatment. The organisation’s clinical teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in lower-limb biomechanics, integrating gait analysis, functional assessment, and evidence-based decision-making into both conservative and surgical care pathways.

In recent years, dePie has increasingly incorporated additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies into its clinical and applied research activities, particularly in the areas of lower-limb biomechanics, rehabilitation, and customised therapeutic solutions. This integration allows the organisation to connect advanced clinical knowledge with emerging digital manufacturing technologies while maintaining a strong focus on real-world clinical applicability.

dePie has experience collaborating in international and interdisciplinary initiatives and contributes to projects that promote sustainable, accessible, and scalable healthcare solutions. Within the AM-HEAL project, dePie provides a clinically grounded and biomechanically informed perspective, supporting the development of training content and educational methodologies that reflect everyday practice in lower-limb rehabilitation and facilitate the effective transfer of additive manufacturing knowledge into healthcare education.

Work Package responsibility

dePie Clínicas Podológicas contributes to WP2 – AM-HEAL Curriculum Design, providing clinical input based on real-world podiatric and lower-limb rehabilitation practice. The organisation supports the definition of learning content aligned with practical healthcare needs and contributes to discussions on the use of artificial intelligence as a support tool for personalised learning activities.

dePie’s role focuses on ensuring that the curriculum remains clinically relevant, sustainable, and adaptable to different healthcare contexts, particularly in relation to lower-limb applications.
